Mr. Perla is responsible for the strategic development of the company, and focuses on preliminary and conceptual design work. he works closely with GPA's clients to develop profitable vessel concepts, which meet owner ambitions and industry requirements.
Mr. Perla, a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington, obtained a BSE in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from University of Michigan, and BSE in Mechanical Engineering from University Pontificia Bolivariana in Columbia.
George-Ulysses C. Karantsavelos P.E.

Mr. Karantsavelos has been employed by Guido Perla & Associates, Inc. (GPA) since 1993. He functions as Vice President of Engineering and as Senior Naval Architect with primary responsibility in the areas of stability and weight control. In this capacity, he has performed numerous studies of intact and damage stability for passenger vessels, fishing vessels and work boats, and stability analyses for ocean-going and inland vessels. Regulatory approvals are routinely acquired for both United States and foreign agencies. Mr. Karantsavelos also performs primary hull design and fairing for new construction design and has been extensively involved in the construction processes of GPA-designed vessels in Asia.
Mr. Karantsavelos offers 45 years of varied marine industry, design and construction experience. His range of extensive experience includes various vessel types, including offshore vessels, passenger vessels, workboats, fishing vessels, as well as research ships. In recognition of this expertise, Mr. Karantsavelos has contributed technical assistance to the recent US Coast Guard changes to passenger vessel stability regulations.
Gregory T. Hughes

Mr. Hughes has been employed by Guido Perla & Associates, Inc. (GPA) since 1997 and is responsible for vessel design from concept level through detailed design. He has an extensive background in structural analysis utilizing the latest 3 dimensional Finite Element Analysis computerized techniques. His responsibilities also include project management, Regulatory Body liaison, and technical development of the vessel lines, hull structure, stability assessment, vessel performance characteristics, as well as other areas of naval architecture. Mr. Hughes is familiar with the United States Coast Guard Rules, the American Bureau of Shipping Rules, Det Norske Veritas Rules, the Safety of Life at Sea Rules and other International Maritime Organization Rules and guidelines governing the design and construction of vessels. He has extensive experience with 3-D computer aided design.
Stefan T. Wolczko

Mr. Wolczko has been with GPA since 2009. While he functions mainly as GPA's Business Development Manager and Projects Manager, he has experience throughout many parts of GPA's operations. Formerly , his responsibilities focused on Project Naval Architecture and he was responsible for Preliminary Design and Proposal Engineering. He additionally worked as a project naval architect for regulatory and production phase projects, including preliminary and detailed weight estimates, stability calculations, structural design and engineering, other naval architectural calculations, arrangements, and 3D visualizations.
Mr. Wolczko offers over 10 years of naval architecture and marine engineering experience dealing with various vessel types, including offshore Vessels, Passenger Vessels, Workboats, Fishing Vessels, as well as research ships.
Eva Relano Rico

Ms. Relano is responsible for organizing the project management department. Ms. Relano has served as Project Manager at GPA and continues to support preliminary and contract design activities, bid and proposal development as well as coordination between our GPA office in Chile and GPA headquarters in Seattle.
Ms. Relano obtained a MSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica of Madrid and a MSc in Renewable Energy Management from the University of Cadiz (Spain).

Mr. Dyrikis is responsible to manage and make studies of Business performance, develop annual office budgets, analyze income and expenses, supervise the Office Manager in regards to their functions regarding all financial matters, payable and receivables accounts, cash flow, budgets control and assignments of the company.
Mr. Dyrikis obtained his Executive MBA from University of Andes ( Bogota.Col.) and BSE in Mechanical Engineering from University Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia.

Mr. Dielen functions as General Manager of the Braziling branch of GPA., where he has been residing for the past decade. Mr. Dielen offers local support to operators and shipyards during the execution of newly developing projects
Mr. Dielen holds a Naval Architecture degree from Hogeschool Rotterdam and Ship Production degree from the University of Strathclyde.
