WELCOME TO GPA
NAVAL ARCHITECTS, MARINE, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
- SHIP DESIGN -
Founded in 1979, GPA is an independent, full-service naval architecture and marine engineering firm.
The M/V Susitna has a new home in the Philippines. The GPA designed, 209-foot Small Area Waterplane Twin Hull (SWATH) icebreaking landing craft was delivered to the Philippine Red Cross on 2 December 2016 in Subic Bay, Philippines, after being towed from Seattle across the Pacific by Harley Marine Services. GPA worked closely with Harley Marine and provided lift and transportation analysis, technical support for lifting and securing the vessel to the towing barge, among other preparations for the Pacific crossing.
Thanks to our team’s combined efforts and the excellent planning executed by Harley Marine Services. We wish her all the best in her new home and many more years of operation as a humanitarian ship.
