Mr. Perla is responsible for the strategic development of the company, and focuses on preliminary and conceptual design work. He works closely with GPA's clients to develop profitable vessel concepts, which meet owner ambitions and industry requirements.
Mr. Perla, a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington, obtained a BSE in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from University Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia.
Mr. Loudon is responsible for directing the overall management and technical efforts of GPA. He continues to perform preliminary and contract design activities, as well as project management, bid and proposal development, and quality assurance work.
Mr. Loudon obtained his BSE in Naval Architecture from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
Mr. Chuhran is responsible for directing the office organization, project management, marketing and government contracts. Mr. Chuhran has also served as a senior mechanical engineer at GPA and continues to perform preliminary and contract design activities, as well as project management, bid and proposal development, and quality assurance work as needed.
Mr. Chuhran obtained his MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, and a BS Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Washington.
Mr. Pasciuti is responsible for managing the naval architecture department, and oversees scientific analysis and development, as well as regulatory compliance. He works with clients to present preliminary design concepts, and provides project management for major projects from inception to completion. He is also instrumental in the development of project bids and proposals.
Mr. Pasciuti obtained an MSC in Naval Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Washington.
Mr. Hughes has primary responsibility for general arrangements and structural design with extensive background in structural analysis. Mr. Hughes obtained his BSE in Naval Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Payne is responsible for the complete design and systems integration of all main and emergency power, lighting, HVAC controls, hazardous area classification, internet communications & alarm systems. Furthermore, he is in charge of leading multi-discipline teams, customer liaisons, development of project plans, sustem requirements and specifications, specification of system components, review and approval of vendor drawings, and integration of system components.
Mr. Payne holds an Electrical Engineering degree (B.S.) from the University of Missouri, as well as several other technical certificates in various areas.
